Während einer Routinereise durch das All zu einem neuen Heimatplaneten erwachen zwei Passagiere aufgrund einer Fehlfunktion ihres Raumschiffs 90 Jahre zu früh aus dem Kälteschlaf. Jim und Aurora steht nun bevor, ihr gesamtes restliches Leben an Bord dieses Raumschiffs verbringen zu müssen. Umgeben von jedem nur denkbaren Luxus, fühlen sie sich stark zueinander hingezogen und verlieben sich ineinander. Doch plötzlich entdecken sie, dass sich ihr Raumschiff in großer Gefahr befindet. Das Leben von 5.000 schlafenden Passagieren steht auf dem Spiel – und nur Jim und Aurora können sie retten.

- Jakeys30. Dezember 2025I didn't mind it but it was very colour by numbers and I think it lets Chris Pratt off way too lightly. I agree with the internet consensus it would have been massively more interesting shot from Jennifer Lawrence's perspective as a thriller. Alas, we got this formulaic drama instead.

Feminists hate it because the Chris Pratt character took the Jennifer Lawrence character's experience from her because of his wants, but again, WWYD? But that they hate it is why I like it (any opportunity to piss off a feminist should not be ignored), not to mention it's entertaining. Very underrated and underappreciated film.

- pipanni24. April 2025I really loved this movie. Some profound scenes that stay with you. Awesome soundtrack. Would be a perfect movie if the ending was not a bit watered down. Still very enjoyable. What I love the most about sci-fi is that it gives us these kind of scenarios to see how humans would react, and make the viewer think how he/she would react.
