Once Upon a Time In... Hollywood
Regie Quentin Tarantino- cultfilmliker9. April 2026Watched the first half on an iPad and the second half in 4K on the big screen….you know, as intended Just an excess number of driving shots. Hope Quentin learned his lesson from Kill Bill and isn’t putting actors or stuntmen at risk of death anymore! And ugh the foot shots man….get a fucking grip on yourself Truly cannot get over how much Polanski looks like Austin Powers at the party Did love the Kate Berlant part! Dakota Fanning, Harley Quinn Smith, Victoria Pedretti, Maya Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Sydney Sweeney, and Mikey Madison all being part of the cult is as insane as the cult itself. Oh, and Austin Butler Also, Mikey getting burnt alive in a film twice in a couple of years will never not be funny as hell I’ve really gotta start trusting drunk Dylan more. His opinions are valid!
- makdelart5. März 2026Tarantino, known for his cinematic erudition, who throughout his professional life has paid homage to exploitation cinema, Italian genre productions and old classic Hollywood, had to make such a film eventually. He transported us back in time to Hollywood in the late 1960s, on the cusp of change, and told the story of a fictional film and television star (played by DiCaprio) and his stunt double (Brad Pitt), intertwining it with real characters: Polanski, Sharon Tate, the Manson Family, etc. The director deserves respect for his extremely authentic reproduction of the scenographic details of the era and for his numerous references to his favourite films from those years. Unfortunately, it is a pity that the film's plot is a little weak, the pace is slow, and it gives the impression of being a series of disjointed and unrelated sequences, which, however, allows the viewer to get a feel for the era and empathise with the characters. The finale, on the other hand, rewards the viewer's patience and provides an unforgettable experience.
- Zokkiie3. Februar 2026It’s a laid-back ride through old Hollywood with some seriously fun performances. The city, the music, the outfits—it all just clicks. Some parts drag a bit, but the payoff is worth it. You catch little details that make the world feel lived-in, and the ending hits in a way that sticks with you. Definitely a movie to just sink into and enjoy the ride.
- wonderrxjr27. Januar 2026This is just so interesting? Like just showing three different aspects of old 60s Hollywood was really cool. Leo, Brad, and Margot did really great with their characters. My favorite hippie was probably Mikey Madison's cause the ending was really funny for her. The writing is solid and it's fun, but why the fuck is Tarentino so horny for feet man good god
