Der Architekt Matt ist zwar nicht gerade ein Partylöwe, hat aber in der Galleristin Jenny eine tolle Partnerin gefunden. Leider ist Jenny gewaltig eifersüchtig und durch und durch neurotisch - und außerdem das Alter Ego der Superheldin G-Girl. Als dem armen Matt das aufdringliche Verhalten seiner Freundin zu bunt wird, gibt er ihr den Laufpass und tröstet sich mit Kollegin Hannah. Aber da hat er die Rechnung ohne das Temperament und die Superkräfte seiner Ex gemacht, die nun alles tut, um Matt zurück zu gewinnen.

April 2026This was a fun little movie with an interesting & unique plot, but it was nothing special, I enjoyed it for what it was but in terms of rewatchability it only serves as some background noise rather than something you sit down and fully invest in multiple times. Uma Thurman was great as always & easily the standout of the film. Unfortunately, the rest of the cast ranges from mediocre at best, to at times pretty annoying. The special effects were mixed, some of them were decent, some of them weren’t so good, I particularly enjoyed the shark scene & thought that look awesome. The flying scenes were pretty well done too. Overall I rate this a 6/10 (Decent / Okay movie with some good bits), fine background noise casual watch or “Netflix & chill” type of movie, but it’s probably only worth a concentrated focused watch only once; It’s good but not spectacular, probably nobody’s favourite movie.
