But, the actors' performances were great and the art design was gorgeous (mostly) and just so very Coppola. It was the visuals, Aubery Plaza and Adam Driver that made me keep watching.
- mwf36911. August 2025This film is every bit as bad as you heard it was. Still, I don't regret watching it. It featured an amazing cast, and had an interesting story idea. But all of that was overshadowed by wild, unbelievable story tangents, absurd plot devices, mismatched period costumes/accesories, etc. Just an absolute mess.

Zwischen ihnen hin- und hergerissen ist die prominente Julia Cicero, die Tochter des Bürgermeisters, deren Liebe zu Cesar ihre Loyalitäten gespalten hat und sie dazu zwingt, herauszufinden, was ihrer Meinung nach die Menschheit wirklich verdient.
