- hahaman4realvor 2 TagenThe Last Movie I will ever love.. Nothing will top this for me nothing.. EVER
- GBWest3. Februar 2026This is an intense science fiction thriller.
- SAID MTS30. Januar 2026Existential wonder served with a side of "time-dilation" trauma.
- Varun13. Dezember 2024Watched the IMAX rerelease and was completely blown away. I was speechless after the movie was done. I saw the movie 10 years ago at age 15 in a regular theatre and it had a huge impact on my life. As a teenager I really loved the final lesson on love, but it was like a wisdom cookie that I liked and accepted as a piece of knowledge, but hadn’t fully experienced and understood in my soul. It’s only in 2019 when I experimented with ego dissolving substances and then later watching lectures on love and reality by the philosopher J. Krishnamurti that I finally realised deep down in my soul that love truly was beyond space and time. Love to me is the same as God, a single unifying force that holds the fabric of the universe together, that exists within everything. One is All, All is One. It’s a dimension that is both immanent and transcendent, and human beings are capable of tapping into its sphere through various means. In this movie, that means is explored through the lens of physics and space, two things that have also been absolutely fundamental in changing the trajectory of my life and belief systems, it was the impetus for my disbelief in religion and God but also my eventual return back to spirituality. And I would absolutely credit Interstellar for sparking that push to meditate on these concepts, and also for providing help with some visual imagery to wrestle with these hard topics. The depictions and scenery in this film are jaw droppingly gorgeous and unforgettable, it’s bound to stay in your conscious mind for a long time. I know I wasn’t the same after this experience. And of course, Hans Zimmer delivering the best movie score of all time, makes me so emotional every single time and also feel a profound sense of hope in life. The sound design in IMAX was perfect. The actions scenes are also really good, felt like I was out of my seat multiple times. I do have a little bit of a gripe with a few character and story moments, they were sacrificed in service of the bigger picture. But overall I think it tells a very special story about the human struggle in this infinite cold universe and it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, completely worth rewatching it in IMAX, it’s almost a religious experience.
- Manuel Frangis20. Januar 2026I just watched Interstellar and I give it 5 out of 5 stars. This movie is one of the most powerful experiences I have ever had. It reaches deep into your emotions while taking you on a journey that feels both massive and personal at the same time. I went in expecting a science fiction adventure, but what I got was a story about love, sacrifice, time, and the heartbreaking distance between the people we love. It surprised me with how emotional it became, and I found myself thinking about it long after it ended. Matthew McConaughey gives a performance that feels incredibly human. He plays Cooper with a mix of hope, determination, and heartbreak. He is a man who wants to save the future, but he also wants to hold on to the life he already has. The conflict inside him is written on his face in every scene. His love for his children becomes the emotional anchor of the whole movie. Even when the story goes into deep scientific ideas, his emotions are what keep it grounded and powerful. One of the moments that touched me the most was the aging scene when Cooper watches years of messages from his kids. Seeing his children grow up in front of him while he stays the same age hit me in a way I did not expect. It was heartbreaking, emotional, and completely unforgettable. You feel the weight of every year he missed. You feel the pain of a father who left to save his family but ended up losing the chance to watch them grow. That scene alone showed how powerful the movie’s themes are. It made me feel the fear of time slipping away and the sadness of realizing life moved on without him. It is one of the most emotional scenes I have ever seen in any movie. Anne Hathaway brings strength and depth to her role as well. Her character adds another perspective on what it means to fight for survival while still holding on to hope. Her emotional honesty gives the movie balance, and her scenes add warmth and compassion. The supporting cast does an amazing job too, each person adding something meaningful to the journey. The visuals are breathtaking. From the vastness of space to the mysterious planets, every shot feels carefully created to give the story scale and beauty. The movie captures both the danger and the wonder of exploring beyond Earth. The music by Hans Zimmer is unforgettable. The score fills the movie with emotion, suspense, and a sense of awe. It rises and falls at the perfect moments, making certain scenes feel even more intense and moving. The themes of Interstellar are deep and reflective. It explores time, family, sacrifice, and the strength of love. It shows how far someone will go for the people they care about. It makes you think about the choices you make and the things you cannot control. The movie blends science with human emotion in a way that feels sincere and meaningful. By the time the movie ended, I felt amazed, emotional, and grateful for the experience. Interstellar is not just a film. It is a journey through space, time, and the human heart. It completely earned its perfect rating from me.
- Håkan Lundstedt18. Januar 2026It’s a movie about how the love between father and daughter transcends time, space and even logic. Recommending to everyone. It is not about space, sci-fi or space-travel. It’s really about the human condition and how no matter the circumstances our basic needs are what they are. Can’t understate how much I like this movie and that we are all better for having watched it.
- Tubeman7216. Januar 2026Christopher Nolan likes to tackle things in a big and compelling way. We saw that of course in his 'Batman' trilogy and certainly also in 'Inception' (2010). The British filmmaker's work stands out because of its ambitious approach, the intelligent script, the play with time and dimensions and the groundbreaking special effects. When it was announced that Nolan would be embarking on his very own tribute to one of his favorite films, '2001: A Space Odyssey' (1968), the enthusiasm of film lovers around the world was stoked. The director, who writes most of his scripts himself (often with his brother Jonathan), also attracted criticism that his films are often cold and distant. 'Interstellar' (2014) had to be a film that makes room for human emotions. But science fiction and human emotions; How do you combine these two aspects that are miles apart, without one being overshadowed by the other, and without having to use all kinds of tricks? Nolan takes a chance and makes a certainly not without merit attempt. 'Interstellar' is set in the near future. Man has depleted the earth to such an extent that many crops can no longer grow; It won't be long before life on Earth will no longer be possible. Coop (Matthew McConaughey) once seemed destined to become a star pilot at NASA, but circumstances forced him to say goodbye to that dream and grow corn – pretty much the only thing that still wants to grow. While his fifteen-year-old son Tom (Timothée Chalamet) likes the farm life, his precocious ten-year-old daughter Murph (Mackenzie Foy) shares her father's passion for science. It is thanks to her ingenuity that Coop discovers that NASA still exists, albeit underground, and is working on a secret mission under the leadership of his former teacher Professor Brand (Nolan regular Michael Caine) to find a new home planet for the inhabitants of Earth. The way to find this new planet is through a wormhole near Saturn. Nolan received help from leading theoretical physicist Kip Thorne to explain somewhat clearly how the astronauts can bypass this astrological phenomenon. Would Coop want to go on a secret mission to visit the three planets that have the most similarities with Earth? Although he is reluctant to leave his family with his father-in-law Donald (John Lithgow), and Murph begs him to stay, he agrees. His inconsolable daughter is furious and refuses to say goodbye to him. Together with three other astronauts – Brand's daughter Amelia (Anne Hathaway), Romilly (David Gyasi) and Doyle (Wes Bentley) – and robot TARS (delightfully cynical voiced by Bill Irwin), Coop leaves for his space mission, not knowing whether he will ever set foot on earth again and see his children again. While two years pass in outer space during the journey to Saturn, on Earth it takes 23. Murph is now an adult (and is now played by Jessica Chastain) and is himself a scientist in Professor Brand's employ. She still has not thanked her father for his decision, but she will play a crucial role in the future of humanity on Earth. The film only really starts once the astronauts have passed through the wormhole. Nolan treats his audience to spectacular images of the space mission, unknown galaxies and inhospitable planets. Because of all that spectacle, the characters become quite snowed under, although McConaughey portrays an endearing mission leader and we are surprised by an - extensive - cameo from a big name in film land. The human emotions that Nolan worked so hard on are absolutely everywhere in 'Interstellar', but do not necessarily prove to be of decisive value. They stay on the plain too much for that. However, that does not detract from the masterful way in which Nolan draws us into the magic of multiple dimensions and - once again - pushes boundaries visually. And whether it is all equally plausible or not, the screenplay is impressive and once again underlines Nolan's ambitions. Time and again he manages to surpass himself visually. A blockbuster that puts the brains to work; Nolan has elevated that craft to mastery.
- S Johnson1. Februar 2025IMO, this is a top 10 movie all-time
- Sean Norwood29. April 2025My Top 1 movie. 11/10 would get sucked into a black hole
- Christopher Frazier15. Januar 2026"Stellar", literally, hands down most awe inspiring take on how some of the widely accepted, modern day theories in physics/astronomy would actually play out once or civilization advances enough technologically. 👍👍
- wonderrxjr15. Januar 2026Just a fucking ride through and through and a masterpiece by Nolan goddamn. Bro is truly the king of IMAX. I hope someday I can see the 70mm version of this movie cause if I can see that on a 6 story screen that would make me levitate, I think and change me forever
- Cubane8. Januar 2026Nolan couldn't film on location in the orbit of an actual black hole, so he did the next best thing and rendered one using the most resource-intensive process ever used for a movie just so it would look as accurate as possible. I think the studio should have agreed to cough up an extra 100 mil to cryo freeze McConaughey and some cameramen and wait the extra 1.6 million years or so to ship them to Gaia BH1 and back for some sick location footage, but I guess this is good enough.
- ayayron6. April 2025It's impossible - No. It's necessary
- Kevin Welkner7. Mai 2025Can’t believe it took me over 10 years to watch this. This is one of those 3 hour movies that goes by in what feels like minutes because you are so sucked in to it - ironic given the storyline.
- 1marioaa28. Dezember 2025If you’re not into sci‑fi but appreciate heartfelt moments, this is for you. My spouse—who usually avoids sci‑fi—enjoyed the movie. It’s long, but absolutely worth it. Be sure to pay attention to the details.
