Without having known about his Jewish origins, Emil grew up with his new family as a Christian. He studied medicine, he worked at the Institute of Experimental Biology and Genetics and immigrated to the United States; Professor Dr. Emil Skamene became a renowned scientist. He was awarded by prestigious academic titles and was even nominated for the Nobel Prize. In 1993, he received a mysterious letter where he discovered that his identity is entirely different than he has thought so far.
