The entrance to heaven/hell is a Tool album cover vagina gate and as a cloud person you gotta get through the tentacle curtain before getting chopped up or getting sucked back to life. Bad effects aside i wasn't ready for all the supernatural turns this goes. The trope of seeing through the eyes of the killer was countered with “what if also the killer could see back through the protagonist’s eyes…. Right? Thats the stuff right there… were dang clever right?” I like Jeff pretty much always but even he is bringing the minimum amount here although he does some fantastic dead acting. I feel like a broken record i’ve said this so much, despite this not being a good movie its got that 90’s charm which carries it so much further than any modern movie.

Hatch Harrison (Jeff Goldblum) gerät mit seinem Wagen ins Schleudern und stürzt in einen reißenden Fluß. Frau und Tochter können sich aus dem Auto befreien. Hatch schafft es leider nicht mehr - er stirbt. Aber einem Arzt gelingt das Unmögliche: er holt ihn wieder ins Leben zurück. Doch dies hat Folgen. Es plagen ihn Horrorvisionen von grausamen Morden aus der Perspektive des Killers. Kurz darauf wird das Opfer gefunden und er merkt, dass seine Wahnvorstellungen schreckliche Wahrheit sind. Der Killer ist wieder da! Und als nächstes hat er Hatchs Tochter im Visier...
