Im Horrorthriller von den Autoren von "A Quiet Place" entdecken ein paar Freunde ein abgelegenes Spukhaus. Die Aussicht auf Nervenkitzel lässt die Teenager alle Bedenken ignorieren.     i wasn’t expecting the ending!! i loved how they ended this as well and it’s a pretty decent horror movie!

    A film that went pretty under the radar when it was released I think. The premise and everything is all very familiar and been done before, heck pretty sure a film with pretty much the same plot was released a year earlier called "Hell Fest". But where Hell Fest fails Haunt exceeds in pretty much every single way. A fleshed out back story that gives levity to the final girl which makes you want her to survive, some truly tension inducing scenes, just the right amount of gore, creepy masks/villains and characters that pretty much make all the right choices. I will say I really also loved the ending, thought it incredibly smart. Not surprised the writers from A Quiet Place wrote and directed this. They really know how to craft a great tension filled scene. I hope this gets the cult following like Trick r' Treat does because it's such a simple yet effective slasher that does pretty much everything right.

    This was a lot better than I expected. The haunted house setting was genuinely creepy from the get go and the tension kept building throughout the movie. It had some brutal moments, one of the better haunted attraction movies I have seen.

    Already a feeling of unease, pranksters have a tendency to throw off the vibe while trying to set one. Something feels off in the haunted house, started before even entering the place. Things are picking up, and the terror is setting in for our characters, and it feels like it's all gone wrong and now to see was out really ever even an option for them. The brutality is inspired and satisfyingly maniacal, while sheer viciousness is just gorily beautiful. This new sect of torture porn/horror is growing on me. This film is actually quite amusing and fun.

    While the main heroine can be a bit frustratingly useless at times, I have to say that this was a great low-budget horror. Nothing worse than going to what you thought was a fun amusement only to be trapped in an increasingly awful den of horrors!

    As good as a haunted house movie gets. Its hard to scare me but the new ideas here are pretty horrifying.
