Der 100.000 Dollar Fisch Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Manuel Frangis26. März 2025I just watched Gone Fishin’ and I give it 4 out of 5 stars. This movie is goofy, light, and totally underrated. It is the kind of comedy that does not take itself seriously at all—and that’s exactly what makes it fun. If you are in the mood for something easy to watch with some good laughs and wild situations, this one definitely gets the job done. Joe Pesci and Danny Glover star as two best friends, Joe and Gus, who just want to take a simple fishing trip in Florida. But of course, nothing goes according to plan. What should’ve been a relaxing getaway turns into a nonstop chain of disasters, weird run-ins, and crazy accidents that only get worse as they go along. It’s that kind of classic “everything goes wrong” buddy comedy, and even though it’s ridiculous, it’s entertaining the whole way through. Pesci and Glover have great chemistry, and it’s fun seeing them play off each other in such different roles than we’re used to seeing them in. Pesci brings his usual loud, fast-talking energy, while Glover plays the more cautious and grounded one—kind of the voice of reason. But both of them get their fair share of funny moments, and they really sell the whole lifelong friends dynamic. You can tell they’re having fun, and that makes the movie more fun to watch. The comedy is very slapstick and silly, but that’s the charm of it. You’re not here for sharp wit or clever dialogue. You’re here to watch two guys crash boats, ruin bait shops, and stumble into situations they absolutely shouldn’t be involved in. There’s even a subplot with a criminal on the run that somehow ties into their trip, and it just adds to the chaos. It’s one of those movies where you keep asking, “How could things possibly get worse?” and then they do. The setting is great too. There’s something about the Florida fishing backdrop that makes the whole adventure feel a little more unique. The movie uses the locations well—swamps, rivers, fishing towns, and all kinds of crazy weather. It really leans into the outdoorsy vibe, and it adds a lot to the whole journey-gone-wrong theme. The story itself is simple, but it works. The point isn’t where they’re going—it’s how they get there and what kind of trouble they find along the way. It’s not deep, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s about two best friends having the worst luck ever and somehow managing to stick together through it all. I give Gone Fishin’ 4 out of 5 stars because even though it’s not some groundbreaking comedy, it made me laugh, and that’s what matters most. It’s fun, it’s chaotic, and it delivers exactly what it promises. The cast is great, the gags are solid, and the pacing never drags. You don’t have to overthink anything—just sit back and enjoy the madness. Overall Gone Fishin’ is a goofy, feel good comedy that’s perfect if you’re just looking for a fun time and some classic buddy-movie chaos. It’s not trying to win awards. It’s just trying to make you laugh and for me, it totally worked. Definitely one I’d watch again if I need something silly and light.
