April 2026tonally confused, but there’s some nice tension in several scenes and we love to see sam worthington employed. would have been a decent 3/5 dad movie if it wasn’t for the last ten minutes feeling so disjointed and unnecessary/unremarkable. we already inferred how these three characters met, and nothing about the ending provides more context into their character dynamics or motivations. the ending credits “where are they now” sequence only exacerbates the issue. dude next to me was softly snoring for a majority of the film; it wasn’t an issue for my experience at all i’ve just never seen anyone sleep so peacefully at the cinema.

The film lets its villains drift through chaos with little consequence, making its moral indifference feel less provocative than careless. Rather than exploring why evil persists or how systems fail, Fuze simply shrugs and moves on. The result is a thriller that mistakes cynicism for depth and leaves the audience wondering what the writers were actually trying to say.
