Richard Gecko ist ein Psychopath, sein Bruder Seth ein eiskalter Verbrecher. Richard befreit Seth aus dem Gefängnis, sie rauben eine Bank aus und hinterlassen eine Spur aus Blut und Verwüstung. Auf ihrer Flucht entführen sie schließlich einen ehemaligen Baptisten-Prediger, der sein Amt nach dem Tod seiner Frau aufgegeben hat und nun mit seinen beiden Kindern von Ort zu Ort zieht. Richard verspricht ihm, ihn und seine Kinder freizulassen, wenn dieser sie nach Mexiko schmuggelt. Und eigentlich möchte Richard dieses Versprechen sogar einhalten, gäbe es da nicht das Titty Twister, eine Bar auf der anderen Seite der Grenze, in der sich Richard eigentlich nur mit mexikanischen Gangstern treffen will, um mit ihnen ein Geschäft zu machen. Leider wird das Titty Twister von einer Horde blutrünstiger Vampire geleitet, die ihre Gäste, inklusive Gangster und Prediger, einschließen, um sich an ihnen zu laben

- turbob2423. März 2026Great twist, great effects (apart from the digital bits), but the whole thing is.... kind of unpleasant. George Clooney makes a great villain but Tarantino is just horrid. Still there's quite a bit of fun to be had, with a slightly sour taste...
- Desmond Dale24. Januar 2025Even if you don't love Tarantino's films you have to admit that he's into some cool shit. I love his penchant for camp and his odes to B-horror and blaxploitation. From Dusk til Dawn is like the Citizen Kane of horror camp and ridiculously popular as background fodder in bars for this reason. It's so entertaining that even without the sound you can't take your eyes off it at times.

This is a fun film to watch, especially with friends who have never seen or heard of this film before. They will be in for a treat.

George Clooney plays a role very different from anything he’d done before—a cold-blooded bank robber—yet he’s almost restrained compared to his psychotic, murderous, rapist brother played by Quentin Tarantino. If the story had stayed focused on these two fugitives, it would already be a violent and compelling crime tale. Instead, it takes a shocking turn down a path no one sees coming. Strong performances from Harvey Keitel and Juliette Lewis anchor the chaos, while fans of blaxploitation will enjoy Fred Williamson’s appearance alongside special-effects legend Tom Savini. All in all, From Dusk till Dawn is an action-packed ride, and if a fusion of crime and horror is your thing, it won’t disappoint.

Januar 2025🦇 I have had this title on dvd for a fair while now but I had wanted to upgrade it to blu ray because it's a brill film there's something in this for everyone blood/gore action comedy great storyline brill special effects even though a slight nod to the thing in parts but still a great watch so if you haven't seen this yet where have you been so my advice is get this NOW!!!
- Cubane29. Oktober 2025Strong performances from all the stars, and there's plenty of weird feet stuff for Tarantino to get into. I'm just not sure what exactly this movie wants to be, it seems to straddle the territory between horror and action in a way that doesn't exactly work for me.
