Der Comiczeichner Gordon Brody versucht seine Idee für eine Fernsehshow an einen Sender zu verkaufen. Er scheitert und kehrt desillusioniert zu seiner Familie zurück. Dort hat er ständige Auseinandersetzungen mit seinem Vater. Diese gipfeln schließlich darin, dass Gordon seinen Vater beschuldigt, seinen jüngeren Bruder Freddy sexuell belästigt zu haben, wofür er jedoch keinerlei Anhaltspunkte vorweisen kann.

    I was part of the target audience when this movie was released and maybe that messed me up 🙃 because I do actually kind of like this movie. It's hysterically stupid and I love that.

    I find this movie to be entertaining and unique. It's one of those movies you can wind down to at the end of a long day.

    Not as bad as reputation. It's a Holy Mountain like comedy with shitty directing. Is it awful? Nah. Pointless? Close as the script has a very short shelf life.

    There are movies that are so bad that they're good, and this one definitely falls into that category. Look into the history of this film and its creation. Tom Green is a genius (who also literally invented podcasting)
