Belle thinks she's a writer, but in reality she's unemployed and has no idea what she wants to do with her life. Her on/off friend Ben is stuffy, uptight and has no sense of fun, and writes down Belles crazy schemes, stories and ideas. When Belle finds herself homeless, she takes it upon herself to move in with Ben. Two worlds apart, can these two ever find a happy medium and begin to heal and move on from their wounded pasts? Shot as a fly on the wall mockumentary, 'Foundations' is a film about friends becoming family, learning how to heal, and learning how to laugh again.
