Regie Andrew StantonEin Jahr ist vergangen, seit Clownfisch-Vater Marlin seinen verschollenen Sohn Nemo quer durch den ganzen Ozean gesucht hat und dabei tatkräftig von der vergesslichen Doktorfisch-Dame Dorie unterstützt wurde. Die Aufregungen des Abenteuers liegen mittlerweile lange zurück und die drei sind wie eine kleine Familie. Doch als Dorie eines Tages eine scheinbar unbedeutende Beobachtung macht, schießt es ihr plötzlich durch den Kopf: Wo sind denn eigentlich ihre Eltern abgeblieben? Kleine Bruchstücke ihrer Vergangenheit kommen auf einmal zurück und lassen sie nicht in Ruhe. Für Dorie ist klar: Dieses Mal muss sie sich auf die Suche begeben. Gemeinsam mit Marlin und Nemo macht sie sich auf eine Reise voller Gefahren, die sie bis ins Meeresbiologische Institut in Kalifornien führt. Doch wird sie dort endlich mit ihrer Familie wiedervereint?

- Eldon McGuinness9. März 2025The second installment to the Finding Nemo franchise, however, focused on Dory the lovable blue tang that suffers from short-term memory loss. While diving deeper into her past, the movie follows the same formula as the original, with the main character setting out on a quest to find someone and getting into trouble along the way. Many of the characters make appearances, even Nemo and his dad, but thankfully this movie really tries to stand on its own and does a great job of it. As with the original, the scenes are just beautiful and really sell the underwater feel. Additionally, there is no shortage of laughs and hilarious situations, it is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

- gilligan500012. November 2025One of the better sequels in history. Follows similar lines to the first, pushing positive family values and friendships and the journey. The animation improved greatly in those 13 years as well.
