They trick their way into her house to rob her, but somehow all their plans fail. Yet the old lady is unsuspecting, very kind and extremely lonely, which can only be alleviated by the company of her black cat. Maybe all the bad luck is because of the cat, or is it caused by the superstition of one of the thieves?
