- Doc Worm25. Januar 2026I can always appreciate it when a movie sets up rules of engagement and adheres to them. For the most part, Escape Room does that even if it doesn’t quite stick the landing. The script is nothing special nor the performances but it proves to be good stupid fun with slick production and excellent set pieces.
- ርልዪረ17. Januar 2026The movie is so good as it was like saw but all players were not criminals like there. They are playing game on different levels with dangers. There is a twist at end. The all playing levels are different and each had a suspenseful scenes which have to watched at seat edge. There is clue is delivered during levels to escape from it was very nice and detailed. Your are not diverted to any other thoughts while watching this movie. It was suitable to children also as it not contains any mature content. Don't expect a story is to be inside. Just watch it like a reality show on tv you really like it very much.

- jackmeat1. Januar 2025My quick rating - 6.5/10. What a nice breath of fresh air this one turned out to be. These escape room flix are coming at us hot and heavy lately, and for the most part are all about the same, give or take. Not saying this one is totally different, but at least they gave some thought to the why of things going on. I believe it borrowed from another flick I saw recently (the name is driving me crazy, I'll come back when/if I think of it and correct it) but standing on its own, the visuals are very nicely done. The characters are unique enough and are given just the right amount of time to develop and give them a personality to follow. The devices that were created to keep the players guessing were cleverly created with varying degrees of solutions. This gave it a plausible feeling without making it impossible to picture the contestants solving each puzzle. Definitely above average and even comes up with a nice lead into a sequel, Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. I'll be checking it out and my guess is you will be as well, as long as you like this one. Edit: I think the recent movie I was thinking of was either Play or Die or Follow Me. I saw both right around the same time and doubt they borrowed from each other at all.

Juli 2025As kind of a middle ground between the YA Maze Runner franchise and the hard R Saw franchise, Escape Room offers a really fun option for pseudo horror/thriller that’s still tame enough for the entire family. My youngest had to move to sit closer to me, but I don’t believe he ever needed to close his eyes. The trap here are imaginative and fun, particularly the upside down pool hall was really cool and makes for some awesome visuals they invert the camera. There are moments too when you’re given the opportunity to solve the puzzles on your own. I just wish there had been a bit more of that because it’s incredibly rewarding when that happens rather than when we’re left to just watch the characters do all the solving. Fun family watch.

- Daniel Gustavsson11. Oktober 2024Really well done movie. The acting is great and besides a couple weird and slow scenes at the end, this movie is all about exciting and heart racing moments in which it succeeds extremely well. I was biting my nails the whole way through.
