The cast is magnetic, the tension hits at all the right moments, and the visuals? Absolutely jaw-dropping. The sound and music just make everything feel massive. It’s one of those experiences that sticks with you long after it’s over—intense, beautiful, and impossible to forget.
- M08Y22. März 2026The best sci-fi movie I've seen in years. I'd put off watching Dune for a few years for some reason and I am pleasantly surprised. Dune contains the best world building I've seen in years, to the point where I have been inspired to actually read the books. The fall of the house of Atreides was truly beautiful thing to watch, but REALLY could have benefited from a bit more time to flesh out the setup to the fall. I'm really looking forward to reading the novel. The casting is largely superb... but man, Jason Momoa only plays himself and I don't like Zendaya. The 4K bluray was excellent, but the lack of IMAX ratio on the 4K is true loss. I'd sell my first born to see it in IMAX at home.

November 2025the first time i watched this in the cinema the 15 year old version of me didn't appreciate this masterpiece so i had to lock in this time to prepare for dune: messiah next yr and i absolutely loved it, the story, the visuals and hans zimmer's score is absolutely phenomenal.
