Dracula - Die Auferstehung Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Ellivor 4 TagenYet another Dracula movie however this one didn't seem to know if they were focusing on Vlad Il Dracul (Vlad the Dragon) who was the father of Vlad the Impaler or Dracula himself. They gave stories about them both in this movie about obsession rather than romance. Still a rather okay movie despite it.
- Hakihikovor 5 TagenFlawed but Ultimately Entertaining "Dracula" is the kind of film that ends up being more enjoyable than its production values might initially suggest. It is clearly uneven and far from reaching its full potential, yet there is something about its atmosphere and overall tone that still makes it a satisfying watch. I went in with moderate expectations, and in the end I found myself liking it more than I thought I would. The performances are good and very committed, which helps the film more than anything else. The cast brings enough conviction to make the emotional and dramatic moments work better than they probably should. Even when the material feels shaky, there is a genuine effort on screen that keeps things engaging. Visually, the film has some genuinely striking moments, especially when it leans into its darker and more gothic atmosphere. There are scenes that feel stylish and evocative, and the soundtrack supports that mood very well, helping create a sense of immersion even when the production feels inconsistent. The script is where most of its weaknesses show. The pacing can feel uneven, and some ideas are either underdeveloped or too familiar to leave a strong impact. It never quite reaches the dramatic weight it seems to be aiming for, which keeps it from becoming something more memorable. That lack of consistency is what holds it back the most. There is a sense that the film could have done more with its atmosphere and ideas, but too often it settles for something more surface level than it should. Even so, it remains more enjoyable than expected. Despite its flaws, it has enough mood, commitment, and entertainment value to make the experience worthwhile, even if it feels like a film that could have been much better.
- Darren Webster18. September 2025Look, yes, it's another retelling and it takes inspiration from what's come before, but lest ye forget, what's come before was based off the book as is this and it's done quite well. Luc took some agency with the story we all know all too well at this point and had some fun with it. Honestly, this was absolutely fantastic work by Luc and the entire cast. While there ahs alwasy been a theme of love within the story of Dracula, nobody has taken the time to really make it into a full fledged love story. This does that, if not a bit dark and brooding. Even if you've seein every film that's come before this one, it's still 100% worth taking the time to watch this re-telling.
- Shamus2k9. April 2026While it appears that director Luc Besson has lost his ability to produce his own material, he is still able to plagiarize with pinache.
- Desmond Karani5. April 2026Very good acting by everyone, especially Caleb 💯
- ananya17. Oktober 2025I never knew caleb could be so...😏
- Lasse Viinikainen26. März 2026Probably the best portrayal of Dracula, but Christoph Waltz seemed uninterested.
- DANKMorales21. März 2026Really why wait 400 years for your love to be reincarnated just to let yourself be killed 1 hour after getting her back. 0 stars.
- Mr-EBE9. Dezember 2025Ridicule.. back to F. Copola
- VVILFRED12. September 2025Bad, unnecessary, a remake nobody asked for.
- adama92016. März 2026Watched it 5 times out of
- James Saenz10. Januar 2026“i forbid you from killing yourself beneath my window!” “so you’d prefer i die further away?” the best parts are easily the costume and set design. everything else is kind of meh, a strange amalgamation of the source material and previous adaptations that doesn’t really achieve what its predecessors did (pales in comparison to the romance of coppola’s dracula, what humor is there doesn’t land as well as mckay’s renfield, and it lacks the atmosphere of herzog’s or eggers’ nosferatu adaptations). kind of the cw version of dracula, which isn’t necessarily bad but it’s also not something i would come back to when i have far better options.
- Mathew14. März 2026A well formed and atmospheric retelling of Dracula. It envelops you in the theme, timeline and darkness that it owes the viewer.
- adam319925. Januar 2026some fun scenes but like me, you will probably watch this on fast forward
- blade.3814. März 2026Not bad. A fun telling of Dracula. The actor for Dracula does a fantastic job.
