- fredbeard7. September 2026This seemed to me like a movie that didn't know what its end goal was. A romantic comedy or drama? There are some funny parts but it never took off as well as it could've. Kristen Wiig shouldn't have had as much credit as she got, she was in less than half the movie. Overall it's ok but I wouldn't watch it again.

- Krista Glover21. Februar 2026An absolutely awful film. The trailers made it look like a funny, lighthearted comedy about Matt Damon getting shrunk down to live in a tiny village. Turns out, the trailer literally showed every single funny moment in the entire film. Once the shrinking part is over it turns into this depressing movie about social class and the environment that drags on forever. Felt like I was stuck in a boring lecture that I never signed up for. It’s hands down the worst thing I’ve ever seen Matt Damon in. This was easily one of the most disappointing films I’ve ever sat through

In naher Zukunft: Durch den exzessiven Ressourcenverbrauch der Menschheit sind die Reserven des Planeten beinahe erschöpft. Da finden norwegische Wissenschaftler einen Weg, Personen auf eine Körpergröße von zwölf Zentimetern schrumpfen zu lassen. Die Idee dahinter ist simpel: Ein Mensch, der nur noch ein Bruchteil seiner eigentlichen Maße groß ist, verbraucht auch deutlich weniger Wasser, Luft, Nahrung und Platz und produziert weniger Abfälle. Da es um ihr Leben nicht besonders gut bestellt ist und in der Miniaturwelt „Leisureland“ selbst Durchschnittsbürgern wie ihnen ein luxuriöses Leben winkt, beschließen auch Paul Safranek und seine Frau Audrey aus Omaha, sich verkleinern zu lassen. Doch als Paul nach der Prozedur aus der Narkose erwacht, muss er feststellen, dass Audrey kalte Füße bekommen hat...
