Originally formed amidst the chaos of the 1970 Kent State anti-Vietnam War protest killings, the not quite new wave band Devo scored a hit with "Whip It" and gained mainstream success with their message of societal "de-evolution."

Devo Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Michael Surber18. September 2025Been a DEVO fan since the first album so I was looking forward to this. Great background of the early years but you can forget anything post-WB. They gloss over their Enigma releases in about a minute and then ZERO mention of their final album release at all. This is particularly disappointing since it was easily one of their best albums. Still worth watching, these guys are the real deal.
- Scott Smith24. September 2025I've always loved Devo since I was a teenager. What I wasn't ready for was how political they were as a band when they started out at Kent State. Who knew? I always found their concept of De-evolution as humorous, but I never it knew it had serious political and philisophical roots. This was a great look back at the start of the band and where they took it. Still a big fan today.
- Richard Scott Long31. August 2025Very interesting. De-evolution is how they believe
- falker23. August 2025"So Bob and I talked to Mark about de-evolution." A fascinating watch. These men were just in a completely different universe, and they knew it. Which makes them even cooler.
