However, his busy life takes a toll on his health, and after feeling unwell he is prescribed total rest. To achieve that, he wants to make a place where everyone can be anonymous. Young landowner Eva offers her distressed family estate to the cause, and a parade of interesting guests, including George himself, now move in.
