DAY/DAY is an experimental short film made on a shoestring budget that traces its central character through the course of an emotionally tumultuous night. The film is an observation. The pinnacle and resolve of an individual living with the insecurity that he will never find an instance of clarity long enough to allow seamless life for 24 hours. By choosing to pursue non-traditional cinematic approaches, the camera becomes a voyeuristic character performing a visual dialogue with the lead actor. Placing this visual in juxtaposition with a recording of an off screen phone conversation is intended to throw the viewer off balance, skew their sense of perception, and help them feel as the character feels.
