Crazy, Stupid, Love

Crazy, Stupid, Love Rezensionen & Wertungen
- Jakeys14. März 2026Everything with the adult characters was genuine and hilarious, and there is more than enough there to say this is a great movie. Every actor shines in this, and the scene where the characters all meet in the yard was especially awesome. It would be maybe 4-4.5 stars, but I felt like the movie really failed to stick the landing from there. The scene at the graduation is super contrived and cringey, and the central message is deeply flawed. While it happens to work for Cal and Emily's marriage, the way Cal's kid harasses the babysitter and makes her feel uncomfortable all of the time is a textbook example of why "never give up" is a bad message to send. Unfortunately, his behaviour ends up being rewarded in an unrealistic and gross way, and I felt it put a huge damper on the ending and to a degree the movie as a whole.
- Movie_Nerd21. März 2025Love a Steve Carell movie
- wonderrxjr13. Februar 2026Ryan Gosling is the most Ryan Gosling ever in this movie and that's frankly all that I took away from this
- drakeg239. August 2025My favorite rom com of all time. The most stacked cast ever, and there’s so many clear storylines that all get intertwined masterfully. Extremely humorous yet emotional, really well written. Also features one of the craziest plot twists I’ve ever seen. Heavily recommend
- Chelllla10. Januar 2026With Steve making things interesting.
- aburtonky30. Dezember 2025My favorite romantic comedy of all time.
- Eric Bakke18. März 2025A delightful blend of humor, romance, and heart, even if it occasionally stretches the boundaries of realism and believability. Gosling, Carrell, Tomei, and Stone are all hilarious, bringing their A-game to this fun, entertaining film.
- JakeCiemy26. Oktober 2025Crazy and stupid, I love it.
- flavo4327. Dezember 2025Crazy, Stupid, Love is a charming, funny, and surprisingly heartfelt romantic comedy powered by a fantastic ensemble cast. The characters are engaging, the chemistry is strong, and the story—while undeniably unbelievable at times—leans into its big, romantic gestures with confidence. If you’re someone who believes in true love despite life’s messiness, there’s a lot here to appreciate. That said, the film does gloss over some of the deeper issues at the heart of its relationships. Infidelity is treated a bit too lightly, and the script tends to overlook the emotional fallout that would realistically follow. Casual flings and questionable decisions are often brushed aside for the sake of humour or convenience, which can make the narrative feel uneven. Still, the movie’s comedic timing and the way its characters stumble through the chaos of love make it genuinely entertaining. Word count: 150
- J Sab3. November 2025Simple, relatable circumstances that make us think about things in your own romantic history, and what else can still await in the future.
- mickerdoo15. Juli 2025Climaxes in a whirlwind of a scene. Relatable characters. A fun reminder that love doesn't always make sense.
- ርልዪረ7. Februar 2025A really good film. Steve carrel on top form, as are all his co-stars. I like Kevin Bacon but it's always a nice change to see him in self-deprecating supporting roles where he takes some stick. Great humour throughout and a story that builds cleverly toward a good last quarter. One to buy and watch again.
- Jamie Talbot3. Juni 2025Lots to love about this movie. Lots of ups and downs to witness. I love the fact that you get to watch 3 different stories essentially. The scene where everything comes together is just perfect! Carell’s and Moore’s intimate moments in the movie feel really intense and real in my opinion. Great acting by the pair.
- BeckhamCritic7. Februar 2025Great close to the movie; however, there are a lot of things they could have taken out to make the movie even better.
- Hakihiko20. Januar 2025A Hilarious and Heartfelt Rom-Com Gem "Crazy, Stupid, Love." is a delightful blend of comedy, romance, and heartfelt drama that captures the complexities of modern relationships with wit and charm. Directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, the film boasts a star-studded cast, including Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, and Emma Stone, who deliver remarkable performances across the board. What sets "Crazy, Stupid, Love." apart is its ability to balance humor with genuine emotion. The screenplay cleverly weaves multiple storylines, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and redemption without feeling convoluted. The unexpected twists keep the narrative engaging, especially the brilliant climactic reveal that ties all the characters together in an unforgettable way. Steve Carell shines as the everyman caught in a midlife crisis, delivering a nuanced performance that balances comedic timing with vulnerability. Ryan Gosling's turn as the smooth-talking ladies' man is a scene-stealer, and his chemistry with Emma Stone is electric. Julianne Moore brings depth to her role, and the supporting cast, including Marisa Tomei and Analeigh Tipton, add to the film's charm. The humor is sharp and refreshing, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, but it's the heartfelt exploration of relationships that elevates the film. It reminds us that love, in all its forms, can be messy, complicated, and, yes, stupid-but it's also what makes life worth living. While the movie occasionally leans on rom-com clichés, its clever writing and strong performances make it stand out as one of the better entries in the genre. "Crazy, Stupid, Love." is a feel-good film with substance, offering both laughs and heart-a must-watch for fans of romantic comedies.
