A social program offers music classes in Perus, a poor neighborhood on the outskirts of São Paulo. Young Felipe De Luna becomes a classic admirer and learns to play the cello. When he meets Romanian musician Diana Ligetti, internationally recognized and professor at a conservatory in Paris, she recognizes the boy's talent. The two develop a friendship based on the values they both share: love of music, hard work and courage.
