- jackmeat31. August 2025My quick rating - 4.6/10. I think I saw parts of this on TV when I was a kid, called Combat Corps. IMDB has that as an alternate name, so I am sure it was this. The music in this is so painfully out of place that it is amusing. I have no idea what they were trying to tell us in 1971. All the soldiers in the US military coming back from Vietnam are scumbags? All we see here is a group of soldiers that basically act like frat boys with guns. The first woman they see is an instant target for rape. The first people who argue with them get shot, even though they actually deserve it. I have to assume I just watched an edited version since the IMDB comments say "brutal" and "violent". None of which I saw, not even really suggested. The overall idea may have been borrowed down the road since there is a bit of the "hunt for sporThe Onet" thrown in here when the two hippie hitchhikers are split up. Also, the fight to the death to get the woman as a prize is thrown in, which that idea gets scrapped momentarily after it is injected. Just a run-of-the-mill exploitation flick that was missing all the stuff that made the genre. I would like to point out that if a grenade exploded the second you pulled the pin out, it would be extremely ineffective to use LOL. Apparently, the makers of this movie didn't take that fact into account since using a tripwire attached to one wouldn't do much, especially not what it does in this flick. Of course, this has a Blu-ray release, but Last Boyscout or The One do NOT. Click the poster below if interested. You would have to be a huge fan of these films to want to. I still can't get over the music in this one. For the time period, the only answer is the right one; they were HIGH.

Colonel Burkhard und seine Söldnertruppe ist auf dem Weg nach Mexiko, um dort weitere Befehle zu erhalten. Unterwegs treffen sie auf eine Bande von Bikern, die die Söldner schräg anmachen. Einen Fehler, der die Motorradfahrer mit dem Leben bezahlen, denn wer sich den Jungs in den Weg stellt, wird eliminiert. Die beiden Tramper Terry und Kevin treffen sich auf dem Highway und beschließen gemeinsam weiterzugehen. Auf ihrem Trip kommen sich die beiden körperlich näher, doch ihr junges Glück endet abrupt, als sie in Mexiko auf die Söldnertruppe von Colonel Burkhard treffen. Wicks will die hübsche Terry vergewaltigen als Sexsklavin behalten. Doch da die anderen Söldner ebenfalls Druck in der Hose haben, wird sie als Trophäe für den besten Kämpfer ausgesetzt. Währenddessen kann Kevin entkommen und flüchtet ins nächste Dorf, um Hilfe zu besorgen, doch weder der Sheriff noch die Dorfbewohner wollen sich dort einmischen.
