Nach 18 Jahren Gefängnis wird Elwood entlassen und erfährt, daß sein Bruder Jake inzwischen verstorben ist. Bei seiner in die Jahre gekommenen "Pinguintante" erfährt er, daß auch Curtis verstorben ist, jedoch einen unehelichen Sohn hatte. Der ist inzwischen Polizist, doch Elwood schafft es, ihm das Geld für ein neues Bluesmobil abzunehmen, allerdings illegal. Da er jedoch eines der Waisenkinder, den kleinen Buster, mitgenommen hat, als er nun die Band wieder zusammenbringen will, hat er wieder die Polizei an den Hacken. Und dabei bleibt es natürlich nicht auf dem Weg zu einem R&B-Wettbewerb quer durch die USA...

- ርልዪረ20. Februar 2025Of course, it can't beat the 1980 classic The Blues Brothers with John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd but this movie is great!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know why it didn't get the succes it should have because it is very good Turn On Your Lovelight and New Orleans songs are so glorious Awesome storyline I also love J Evan Bonifant who plays the great young Buster Blues also a very brilliant and interesting storyline Great movie!
