In Blade: Trinity bekommt es der Daywalker zum ersten Mal mit dem Vampir aller Vampire Drake alias Dracula zu tun. Dieser, gespielt von Prison Break – Star Dominic Purcell, wird von einer Gruppe Vampire aus seinem Grab befreit, mit dem Ziel sie alle zu Daywalkern zu transformieren. Nach Whistlers Tod muss Blade mit der Untergrundorganisation Nightstalker zusammen arbeiten, die auch in den Kampf gegen Vampire geht. Zu dieser gehört neben Whistlers Tochter Abigail auch der Draufgänger Hanibal King. Ziel der Gruppe ist es, mit dem von ihnen entwickelten Virus Day Star alle Vampire zu vernichten. Dafür brauchen sie jedoch als letztes Element einen Tropfen von Drakes Blut, der das Virus erst wirkungsvoll genug macht. Die Schlacht zwischen den Nightstalkern rund um Blade und den Vampiren beginnt.

- Riggs_Fam16. August 2025People really hated on this move and I’ll be the first to admit that I like movies I shouldn’t. However, this wasn’t a bad movie. Cmon, young Ryan Reynolds and Jesica Beal… I was laughing so hard. Could have dialed down the F-bombs a bit, but still I think worth seeing especially if you’rea Blade fan.
- stuhannaford24. März 2026Little more than a vehicle to progress a young Reynolds’ career at times. A clear precursor to Deadpool, script wise, but misses the mark with its humour, coming off as cheesy rather than smart. The film, because of this, seems to lack a clear focus on the titular anti hero, with Blade becoming more of a sideshow, in a story full of fluff rather than real direction or substance. The biggest issue however, is forgetting what made the original such a success. Gone is the alternative cool that resonated at the time, and as mentioned above, it’s replaced by cheesy sarcasm and alternative geek. Formulaic, and run of the mill action. Fine for fans, but not much for everyday movie goers.
- Q_Prof28. Januar 2026Plot was Ok, story was interesting to see the new charters with Reynolds and Biel brought in along with Posey, H, and Purcell. Snipes had a few more new cool weapons and top notch fighting cheorgraphy as usual, which is always amazing to watch.
- Carlos Ibarra3. August 2025Again. Another example of people being hyperbolic in their hate for a sequel. Sure, it's the weakest of the 3, but there's still some fun to be had here. Ryan Reynolds is funny, and Jessica Biel is good lord hot in it...
- Zokkiie8. Juni 2025A weak and messy end to the Blade trilogy. The action is decent, but the story is bland and the casting is off across the board—especially Dominic Purcell as Dracula, who brings zero presence. Feels more like a generic action flick than a proper Blade movie.
