Der Maler Antonio Ricci findet nach zwei Jahren Arbeitslosigkeit einen Job als Anstreicher. Ein Tag bevor Antonio seinen Dienst antritt wird ihm allerdings sein Fahrrad gestohlen.     I did not like it. I do not get it. It’s supposed to be powerful. Neorealism or something. 90 minutes of my life that I’m not getting back. The acting was credible, and it does give you a glimpse of post-WWII Italy, though, so that’s something.

    It's a masterpiece of cinema, a classic yet realistic tale of human emotion that has inspired a generation of filmmakers to find meaning in normal life from those larger-than-life characters.
