- borhan926. September 2026Unlike others who reviewed this movie, I found this movie to be a tad melancholy and a Debbie Downer. This will take you on a whole musical journey about love, relationships, heartbreak, and parenthood. A coming-of-age story of sorts. I would recommend reading the book; maybe I will add this to my reading list. If you are in the music industry or studying it, this would be a good movie to use as a case study to learn about the music industry world. The cast is what carried an average story and made it better than average. Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, and James Corden, just to name a few, held this movie together, got it over the finish line, and made it watchable because you could quite this movie, as it can be a tad slow to pick up and it obeys the speed limits, with no real crescendo. You can find inspiration from this film. A one-time watch for me; I enjoyed it for what it was, but no real rewatch value.
