- ebd32120. Mai 2025This is a prolonged nightmare, in the literal sense. It never drags which is impressive for such a lengthy film. There are many creatively artistic scenes throughout. I am glad I saw it and I never want to watch it again. :-)

The brilliance of writer and director Ari Aster is that these repeat viewings will never ever help you get this movie. It's never going to click and magically make sense - going back to the well will only deepen your appreciation for the craft of the film.

Love the young actress essentially playing Parker Posey in Dazed & Confused! Someone needs to ask Ari what happened in his attic when he was a kid

A mommy issues fever dream with a Herculean runtime that will likely satisfy Ari Aster fans and simultaneously repulse his detractors. I find myself mostly in the middle, admiring almost every ounce of craft on display and simultaneously never wanting to watch this again. The Free t-shirt was pretty cool though. And Birthday Boy Stab Man….you will always be famous.
