- Niztradamusvor 1 TagTlDR: Messy, convoluted and boring but with an interesting plot and twist. This was my second watch with my Turkish family I am visiting at the moment. I watched it for the first time years ago. While Baskin provides for an interesting plot and premise it fails to deliver on many fronts. The characters are undeveloped, the story is barely coherent as the movie goes on and the movie drags on. The police officers are truly POSs, terrorizing civilians. The only exception is our main character that doesn't manifest as such until late in the movie. Some of the effects were nice but in general they are rather lackluster as well. The only reason to watch this one is to see what Turkyie has produced in the horror genre in the past. You won't be left out if you skip this one though.
- Daniel Gustavsson11. Oktober 2024Very nice movie! The characters are believable and the acting is great. Actually the effects are very nice too and the movie is very nicely shot. It's a bit hard to explain but it has a sense of macabre beauty to it. It truly feels otherworldly, and not just simply gory too, which helps alot with the tone of this movie. And most importantly, the movie is truly a "horror" movie, and it really frightens you and makes you unsettled instead of just using the normal horror movie setup. I would recommend this to any horror fan.

Der Polizist Arda ist noch recht neu in seinem Job, doch schon einer seiner ersten Einsätze wird für ihn im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes zur reinen Hölle. Gemeinsam mit dem Polizeichef Remzi, der seit dem Tod von Ardas Eltern auf ihn Acht gibt, dem Hitzkopf Yavuz und zwei weiteren Kollegen reagiert der Neuling auf einen Notruf, der die Einheit zu einem heruntergekommenen, alten Haus mitten im Nirgendwo führt. Doch schon auf der Fahrt dorthin bauen sie aufgrund einer plötzlich auf der Straße erscheinenden Kreatur einen Unfall, weswegen sie ihren Weg zu Fuß fortsetzen müssen. An ihrem Ziel angelangt, finden sie ein anderes Polizeiauto vor, von dessen Insassen allerdings jede Spur fehlt. Als sie dann das naheliegende Haus betreten und immer tiefer in dessen düstere Gänge und Räume vordringen, in denen ein blutrünstiger Kult sein Unwesen treibt, beginnt für die Polizisten ein schrecklicher Albtraum, aus dem es kein Entkommen zu geben scheint.
