Durch Daisys unbedarfte, begeisterungsfähige Art lernt Jay eine völlig neue Perspektive auf die Welt um sich herum zu werfen, deren Vorzüge und Belanglosigkeiten er bislang für selbstverständlich gehalten hat. Zwischen den beiden ungleichen, jungen Menschen entwickelt sich schon bald eine unerwartete und ungewöhnliche Liebe.
