- sinrise26. April 2026This movie is a thrillride, for sure. There’s no twists or anything. It’s a very straightforward movie about what can happen if you go into the woods with a big ego and lack of preparation. It only takes one careless mistake to end your life. This movie holds nothing back. I love the protagonist isn’t a survival expert. This movie has quite a bit of gore. It almost qualifies as a horror movie. I would not let young kids watch it.
- gnrrain29. Januar 2026Enjoyable outdoors lost in the woods movie. Man vs nature movie with fairly good practical effects. Realism however, is where the movie loses points. Likelihood of events is not very feasible, at least not in their entirety. Taken in segments, I think each part of the story could be possible - though in totality it's a bridge too far in belief suspension. If you don't apply experience or logic to it, it's entertaining.

Alex liebt es, durch die Natur zu wandern, Jenn nicht. Weil Alex' Überzeugungskünste erfolgreich waren, macht sich das Stadtpaar trotzdem zu einem Campingtrip in die kanadischen Wälder auf. Es geht den Blackfoot Trail lang, durch wunderhübsche Flora, der erste romantische Moment kommt bald und das erste gemeinsame Bad im Waldsee auch. Doch Alex und Jenn sind nicht alleine. Sie haben ein beunruhigendes Zusammentreffen mit einem Fremden namens Brad, einem Camper, der offenkundig ein Auge auf Jenn geworfen hat - und das Paar vielleicht weiterverfolgt, als es tiefer und tiefer in die Wälder vordringt. Irgendwas jedenfalls ist da draußen im Dickicht. Da hilft es nicht, dass sich Alex, entgegen anderem Bekunden, verlaufen hat. Dem Pärchen gehen die Vorräte aus, es kann niemanden zur Hilfe rufen. Und es schlingert geradezu in das Revier eines Bären…
