A Quiet Place: Tag Eins Rezensionen & Wertungen
- rg94001. November 2024I think this movie is probably better than the other two entries in this franchise. There's a much more compelling character-centric story and some actual cool camera shots. In a lot of ways, it's a lot better than it has any right to be, especially considering the questionable plots of the mainline entries. However, I still didn't find it as engaging as some of the other surprise franchise entries this year, mainly because I find the threat/premise to not actually be very suspenseful. The "action" sequences of people very quietly and slowly inching and moving with shots of their face to indicate fear is just kind of boring to me. If this didn't bother you from the other movies, then definitely check this out. But if you struggled with those movies, then while I think this certainly elevates the concept, it doesn't evolve beyond it. Lupita Nyong'o is excellent as you'd expect. I still don't find Joseph Quinn that impressive, but he's not bad. To be clear though, the cat is the real star.
- Matthew DiPietro26. Februar 2025Way better than I expected! Wonderful character development and interesting relationship building with almost no dialogue. The monsters are mostly a backdrop. Thumbs up.
- abogomolov16. April 2026Too quiet and boring
- BoldBelvoir28. März 2026Not a patch on first two movies. How did everyone know to be quiet within minutes of the invasion? How was a city of over 8 million decimated so quickly? Where did all the people go and.... why does everybody produce a torch when it's needed?
- Zokkiie2. Februar 2026It kicks off tense and chaotic, with Lupita Nyong’o quietly carrying the movie while the cat steals every scene. Joseph Quinn, unfortunately, is written as annoying, pathetic, and completely useless, which makes you feel sorry for him and wonder why he’s even there. The sound design is top-notch and the alien scares hit, but the story feels thin, the lore adds little, and some characters drag the pacing. Watchable and suspenseful, just not as satisfying as it could’ve been.
- Harish Cousal26. Dezember 2025A raw first-impact look at terror hitting the streets. Less stealth, more chaos and helpless humanity. Moments land deep even if pacing wavers. Not perfect, but still gripping and worth the watch
- makdelart13. November 2025The existence of these creatures has always been logically unjustified to me, and on top of that, we have unbearably sentimental moments and the absence of Emily Blunt. On the other hand, we do have a cat and Noah's Ark. The best part of this film is the last second – seriously!
- Varun19. Oktober 2024Totally unrealistic because my cat refuses to be carried and would meow and get me killed instantly, I have no idea how this one stayed quiet throughout. Also totally realistic that I would do anything to get a slice of pizza since it’s my favourite food. This was honestly quite a bore. I don’t think it was an unneeded prequel, I’m sure people were always interested to know how these aliens arrived on Earth and what followed, but the previous movies worked because it was centered on this family of characters who were interesting and had high stakes reasons to survive. Here the protagonists are so bland. There’s also only so many surprise scares you can do with these monsters until they get boring. There was a scene where the guy walks into a nest of aliens to save the cat, but they never show how he gets out, there’s just a cut and he’s suddenly back safe. The tension just seems blandly manufactured with no care. The CGI was good and some scenes were pretty cool. I wanted this movie to end asap, the only reason I continued was for the cat lol.
- Spaceman Joe29. August 2025Not quite as good as the first two, but man this series is so unique and cool. I want more movies. Excellent emotion by the main characters. I love the cat more than I should
- Mr-EBE2. November 2025Boring, "modern day Disney smell" version of A Quiet Place. With a cat more intelligent and silent than humans.. Loved the original one 1000x more. Even the audio is lackluster.. Next
- Daniel Schmid17. September 2025Definitely watch the first movie first. But then watch this one. Like the first one, it's beautiful. Great sound design, great CGI, and I just love the creature design, totes my thing. Characters and actors are great. My personal preference tells me to only give this 4.5 stars due to the suburban setting which is just not the most enjoyable to me.
- Dominik Burkolter18. August 2025Just another story in that dystopia. I hoped for more insights about the invasion.
- Tanalien2. November 2024A Quiet Place: Day One faced great odds to buck the trend of inferior prequel movies. Could it introduce compelling relationships, teach us something new about its world, and ultimately engross us? No. As the credits rolled, I wondered how Paramount Pictures green-lit such a vapid film, one that bores and feels completely inessential to the superb franchise in its name.
- Jonge_boy8. August 2025Way Better than Owen said it was! 😉
- Saber Zainal4. August 2025Good story
