A true story. Christian, after the death of his pregnant partner, Marta, decides to undertake a long journey by foot all around Italy to raise money for the scientific research against the most common rare genetic disease in Italy: Cystic Fibrosis. The film director, Davide, suffering from the same disease, shoots a documentary in first person, telling the story of the 4000kms, traveled by foot, in the Italian territory side by side with Christian. An "on the road" film, which investigates in Christian's and Davide's human souls: the first, trying to defeat his own anxieties tied to the loss of a loved one, the latter talking about his disease also through the testimonies of other patients met during the journey. The great media coverage, the adventures by foot and the friendship born between the two of them, brings the audience not only in a journey throughout the beautiful Italian population and territory but also through the feelings of the protagonists who are facing their fears for a higher purpose.
