I like watching action and horror films. Some of my favorite ones are Lord of The Rings and The Dark Knight. I’m also a big FNaF fan
- X2: X-Men United
“The war has begun…” - my goat Magneto🔥🔥🔥🔥 This movie is the best of the original X-men trilogy. There are so many cool character moments and action scenes! The sequence where Stryker’s team attack Xavier’s school was easily my favorite part of the movie, it’s so compelling and thrilling. Nightcrawler was also a really cool addition to the team and his teleporting sequences are so dope, I wish we got more of him in the other films. The performances were (just like in the first movie) excellent and Ian McKellen especially stole every scene he was in! My only complaint with the movie is that once again, I absolutely do not like Logan’s relationship with Jean at all. But aside from that, this is a really great movie and I highly recommend it to Marvel fans!X2: X-Men United - Friday the 13th: Part 2
This might be a hot take but I actually prefer this movie over the original, it’s simply more fun. One thing that I really think helped the movie a lot is that you can tell that they had a bigger budget with this film, the special effects are slightly upgraded, the kills are much better, and the cinematography is a lot more focused. In my review on the first movie, I especially praised the camera angles and their way of building suspense, and this movie continued that while slightly upgrading the cinematography. I also think this movie is scarier than the original, particularly the opening scene was very chilling and a large part of it was the suspenseful music. Another thing I really liked was this movie’s final girl, she was a really fun character and the rest of the teens were a lot more likable than in the original. Now, I will admit that I didn’t really like the ending, it isn’t terrible but some stuff about it is a little confusing. But otherwise, I really enjoyed this movie and I would recommend it to those who are a fan of slasher films!Friday the 13th: Part 2 - Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th is a true slasher classic, even though it didn’t and still isn’t sitting well with critics, its impact on pop-culture and the slasher genre in general is undeniable. And for a movie that has been admitted by the creators of the movie itself to be a Halloween knockoff, it still is its own kind of story and I don’t think it’s that much of a ripoff. Tom Savini absolutely cooked with the practical effects in this movie and the kills were fun (wish there were more onscreen tho😁)! Another thing I liked a lot were the camera angles, they smartly build suspense by making it feel like someone is watching the characters. Although Betsy Palmer - who plays the killer, Pamela Voorhees - is only in the movie for like the last 15-20 minutes, she was a standout and probably gives the best performance. Unlike a lot of slasher movies, which often reveal their killers very early, Friday the 13th is very much a straight forward whodunnit story and even though I knew who the killer was, it must’ve felt interesting in the 80s just wondering who the killer truly was. The first hour and 15 minutes are mostly ambiguous, which isn’t necessarily great writing and kind of drags the movie a bit, but it is interesting seeing a horror movie in a different style. While the final girl in this movie isn’t a terrible character, she nor the rest of the cast aren’t very fleshed out, which is my biggest complaint. Another complaint I have is that while I liked the cinematography and special effects, there are a lot of notices of the limited budget which kinda bogs it down a bit. While it’s not a perfect movie and has a lot of flaws, it’s still a classic and fun to watch during the spooky season!🎃👻Friday the 13th - Squid Game • Season 2
So far, an amazing show! Squid Game season 1 was very much about setting up and establishing this new world for the first time. Because of that, I think season 2 did a good job at not exploring too much more (since we already know a lot) but still giving new insights and new games. Speaking of games, the new ones we got in this season were very entertaining and had me on the edge of my seat the entire. We also got some great new characters like No-Eul and Hyun-Ju, both of them are top ten squid game characters imo. The final episode is one of the best episodes in the show and overall, this was a great season and I can’t wait to watch season 3!Squid Game • Season 2 - The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes
To prepare myself for the upcoming Hunger Games movie, and since I was done with the main four, I finally decided to watch this movie for the first time. The first thing I wanna say about this movie is the set design, it looks really cool and I really enjoyed the 1930s like style Panem had to it. It was also interesting to see how the games used to be and how the map back then wasn't a giant rain forest and instead just like a building. They also did a good job of showing how terrifying the games are to everyone. The performances, especially from Tom Blyth who plays Snow, were really good and sometimes you almost forget how Snow in this movie is the SAME person as the monster who tyrannically ruled Panem in the earlier films. My only complaints are that while most of the songs were decent, I didn't really like some of them. And the Katniss reference was just a little goofy. But overall, it was a really good movie and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it!The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes
- When I first watched The Dark Knight Rises, I remember liking it, but I also heavily complained about it in my review on Plex. During this weekend, I decided to give it a rewatch, and I liked it much more than I remembered. I still do have some of my old criticisms with, but for the most part I had a very good time. All the actors are phenomenal in this film, and Tom Hardy’s Bane easily goes down as one of the greatest comic book-movie villains of all time. His quotes are still running free in my head. The action sequences are a lot bigger and bombastic than the first two, and I personally thought they were awesome and very entertaining. And Hans Zimmer’s music, HOLY SHIT! Talk about a f**king banger of a score. I also found a lot of similarities between this movie and The Dark Knight Returns, which is one of my favorite comics of all time and I liked the elements of it that they put in this film. Overall, I had a very good time with this movie. In my old review, I gave it a 3,5/5 stars, but after rewatching, it deserves at least 4 stars!
So, I rewatched The Dark Knight Rises
- When I checked some stuff about the movie a few days before it was released, I saw a bunch of people that had already reviewed this movie and saying that it was GOING to suck or that it’s GOING to be terrible, like you can’t review a movie before you’ve seen it. I watched the movie a few days ago and I thought it was great, and I don’t see any reason to why people would hate on it before it released. Sure it’s long, but so are many movies that people like; Lord Of The Rings, The Godfather, Titanic, and the list goes on. And yeah, it does make significant changes to Homer’s book, now I haven’t read the book though I know a lot about it but here’s the thing many people fail to understand: The Odyssey is one of the most complex and big stories ever, and if you’re gonna adapt it into film, you gotta make significant changes in order for it to work. Otherwise it would be like 4 hours long which i think people wouldn’t like any better. Don’t review a film unless you’ve seen it.
Why did people do this??
- Yes, In my opinion it’s good. I think this movie gave a lot that the first movie missed and I thought that the action was AWESOME and the acting is not as bad as many people say, plus it has some jump-scares that actually really frightened me at the theatre. I gave it an 8/10 because it’s a very fun movie and it works as a movie for the fans but they do need to improve the script writing, if they do that but maintain the action and scares from this, FNaF 3 movie will be perfect! But what do you guys think?
Is Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 a good movie?
