The title Yoho Ahoy derives from the fact the only words the characters say are "Yoho" and "Ahoy." The characters themselves are animated puppets. In 2001 it won the Banff Television Festival Rockie Award: Best Animation for "Yoho Ahoy: Buzz with Jones"
