- Garrett Wilkins18. juli 2026Silo spent its first season building a slow-burn mystery, and while I appreciated how confidently it committed to that approach, it did test my patience at times. The show never rushed to explain itself, which helped the world feel lived in rather than engineered for constant twists, but it also meant some stretches felt more like groundwork than momentum. Juliette’s arc gave the season a strong emotional center, and once she stepped into the lead, Rebecca Ferguson carried her episodes with a grounded intensity that kept the story from drifting too far into abstraction. Even with the slower pacing, the characters usually felt like they were moving toward something meaningful, and the show’s attention to small details made the eventual reveals feel earned. By the time the season reached its final stretch, I felt like the series had mostly justified its patient storytelling. The answers it delivered were satisfying without closing the door on the larger mystery, and the finale expanded the world in a way that made the entire season feel like the first chapter of something much bigger. Some episodes were more deliberate than they needed to be, and the season’s rhythm was not always consistent, but the payoff made the journey worthwhile. The final moments left me genuinely interested in where the story goes next, and as a complete season, it worked as a confident introduction to a world that still has plenty left to uncover.

In some ways my initial thoughts were of Zion from the Matrix, plus the questioning reality. Binged this in 2 nights if you are thinking of watching this then just do it you won't regret it.
