- Sam17. juni 2025The show fell off after Fiona left, and I’ve always hated Debbie ever since she became a teenager. But despite that, I still *love* this show—I’ve rewatched it more than a dozen times. A lot of the experiences hit close to home for me, especially having a bipolar alcoholic mother and a problematic alcoholic (step)father. The acting throughout is absolutely incredible and really brings everything to life.

Jeremy Allen White (Lip) went from “that kid with potential” to bona fide star, while Emmy Rossum’s Fiona remains the show’s backbone — the overburdened matriarch who shoulders everyone else’s mistakes until the weight finally breaks her.
