- MacBobby Chibuzor15. december 2024Sharp! I bought the book series.
- Jay Marie Bailey15. november 2025Great series in my opinion and a close representation of the book unlike the Tom Cruise movies. There were a few changes made in relation to the book but that is always the case especially when the source material is nearly 20 years old. Alan plays Reacher really well and there were times I could just imagine the line "Reacher said nothing" just from his look. Worth while watch especially if you are a Reacher fan
- Edward Schofield17. juni 2025What a great start that leads to a complete fumble.
- jackmeat25. august 2025My quick rating - 7.6/10. I think a great deal of how much you enjoy this one is going to sit solely on your take of Alan Ritchson as the hulking Jack Reacher. He plays a complete no-nonsense, in-your-face, to-the-point-of-sarcasm army vet who stumbles into a small town and immediately is arrested for murder. But when the victim turns out to be his brother, he goes from suspect to partner in solving the crime. The humor in this one is so dry that it is delivered with so little "umph" and just sits there in your head. Very fun and a welcome way to distract from the mystery and action around the sleepy little town. The newly appointed sheriff in said town, Malcolm Goodwin, plays his role as the exact opposite of Reacher well, and is also a point of much of the light-hearted joking. I will say that the only other character worth mentioning is Willa Fitzgerald, who plays the youthful cop who ends up as Reacher's babysitter. The rest of the cast was actually quite bland, and all the common thugs are very one-dimensional. The whole series never gets confusing as to what is going on, so the plot itself is straightforward and easy to follow. The action is well shot, and when need be, the scenes are brutal. Definitely a worthy binge candidate and gives us something to look forward to in the upcoming season (it was announced fairly quickly to be renewed). I am on board, are you? Oh, and I purposely don't bother drawing any parallels to the movies nor have ever read the books, so this, in my eyes, is a stand-alone product.
