Ougi asks Koyomi for help to solve a mystery which she found in audio-visual room at their high school. However, Koyomi and Ougi are trapped in a mystical space as soon as they enter the room. And then, Koyomi has to face his bad memory from 2 years ago.

Koyomi learns he and Sodachi were classmates when they were middle school students, so he visits middle school where they attended with Ougi to look for a clue to solve the problem in the afternoon.

He kept going to the house everyday, but a last day of summer vacation, she suddenly left without saying anything to him. --- Listening to the story, Ougi reminds Koyomi that she and Sodachi are the same person, and infers her secret past one by one.

However, a strong oddity with samurai armor makes an assault on them, and what is worse, the building burst into mysterious flames while they are fighting.
