After losing control out of extreme hunger, he provokes young mythical beasts, resulting in a chaos and indirectly causing the death of Xing Hong's parents. Master of Tianji Sect saves him and takes him in as a disciple. He uses terrible soup to control Mo Bai's appetite to prevent him from causing more troubles, but his junior sister apprentice Xing Hong always brings him food secretly.
