The Murderbot Diaries are one of, if not the most openly anti-capitalist pieces of media I have come across in the last 20 years. In contrast, this show, is very unsurprisingly devoid of that critique. The socialists are hippies that are completely incompident, and LOVE corpo food. They always make quiet little comments about how good the med bays are. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun watch. But it's so sad to see it drained of it's message and sterilized for an american audience.
