At the funeral of his father whom he never met, Sergey Ryabinin meets a stranger who introduces himself as a friend of the deceased. The stranger gives Sergey his father's diary and an old book on palm reading. Sergey doesn't know yet that this strange inheritance will changer the course of hi life and bring him a lot of grief.
