Episode 1At a construction site, 26 year-old loner Jonas Hellemyr has a bad fall and crushes his skull. He is rushed to the hospital and declared dead, but suddenly wakes up and runs in a panic. There is a large, flaming red birthmark on his chest. It is reported to have gotten larger.

E2
Episode 2Jonas meets Rebecka at the hospital. They still have feelings for each other. Rebecka finds it hard to believe Jonas' stories about the accident, but still sneaks him into an MRI. The pictures revealed traces of a metal implant in Jonas' head.

Episode 3Viveca Eldh decides to leave Jonas at Wittsätra, the old asylum accommodation; Rebecka mysteriously disappears. Borg tells Eldh that the Communion wants Jonas to be "burned out" for killing the baby. Viveca Eldh objects. He might be innocent.

Episode 4Rebecka is interrogated and pressured to expose Jonas, who they claim has killed the police officers. Hidden dignitaries, among them Ninni Ek and Paul Kron, attend the Communion leader's funeral. In the back, Borg whispers to someone: "It's done. Helllemyr is dead."

Episode 5Jonas learns that he is a man with extraordinary powers; Eldh claims Jonas is in danger and persuades him to flee. The Outriders tell Jonas what he really is - a Hidden, with special abilities. Jonas mentions the threads of light he saw at Wittsätra and Leander helps him bring them back. What he sees is radio waves and energy.

Episode 6Jonas finds Eldh and learns that the Hidden often lived twice as long as a humans, but need human adrenaline to survive. Leander was sucking it out of the teenager - "burning him out." Eldh and Jonas finally find Wennerbom; Jonas manages to discover a secret, an odd symbol in an empty van.

Episode 7Paul helps Jonas understand more about his background, but it is difficult to digest; someone in Jonas's family wants to see him dead. Jonas finds Wennerbom at scientist Paul Kron's mercy, and learned that his implant was put in to suppress a lethal, hereditary disease.

Episode 8Jonas tries to track down a runaway Adrian; Eldh is left alone and confronted by the Tribunal; unsuspected identities and supernatural forces converge against the captivating backdrop of modern-day Stockholm.
