- Jim Fox29. januar 2025This is really only a three-star series, however I thought it was cute enough to bounce it up to 4 (since 4 means it's rewatchable/bingeable). Season one focuses on 2 of the 5 couples. The second couple in my opinion is far better, and that couple doesn't start till episode 5. Nothing new here, and it harkens back to old school BL. Some scenes are so cliche and cringy that you will want to fast forward. I was afraid that they wouldn't continue the story (like so many other BLs that promise a second season) but I was happily surprised when they announced the air date. The second season takes a much more serious shift in tone, with the first third of the season resembling a tragedy. However, I was interested in that couple since the first season, so I was invested and ended up enjoying the first third. The second third of the second season is actually my favorite; It also goes off script from season one and the plot revolves around a supernatural storyline. The last third is a bit of a miss for me, with the future mafia boss and his long-term love interest. It wrapped up too quickly after boring us while waiting for them to finally get together. However, this is one of the rare series where I thought season 2 bested season 1.
