There is a family that has what it takes to become famous - but can they do it in 12 weeks? That's the challenge in new unscripted series Famous in 12, a unique social experiment that films one fame-seeking family around the clock as they move to Los Angeles - the entertainment epicenter - to try and pull it off. They'll be guided by the TMZ machine, which will create a series of opportunities, and experts who will be brought in to provide input and guidance on the path to fame, but ultimately, it is up to the family. Throughout their 12-week quest, the family will go to some of L.A.'s most populated - and popular - venues to try and seize opportunities. They'll also be tracked via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to build their social media profiles, enabling the audience and family members to interact in real time, which could affect the family's behavior week to week. Can they do it? Can they become famous in 12?
