If you like one, you'll probably like them all, and that's true for Fairy Tail as well. It took a few episodes for the anime to grab me, but once you get into it, you start to love the characters. Due to its length (which you admittedly have to be into), the story and character development are also very diverse. The only downsides are all due to the length. With over 300 episodes now, not every single one can be a highlight, which lowers the overall rating. All in all, though, it's a very solid anime that anyone who likes this kind of thing should definitely watch.
