    ⭐⭐⭐½ (out of 5) Electric Dreams – A glimpse into tomorrow’s nightmares, with just enough spark to stay interesting. “Electric Dreams” is a science-fiction anthology that channels the mind of Philip K. Dick — which means it’s equal parts brilliance, confusion, and existential dread. Each episode stands alone, exploring ideas of identity, technology, and morality in worlds just a few steps removed from our own. If you’re already a Philip K. Dick fan, this is a treat — layered, cerebral, and occasionally haunting. But for casual sci-fi viewers, it hovers just above average: intriguing without being life-changing. The quality varies from story to story, as anthologies tend to, but the overall tone is thoughtful and often beautifully shot. The real draw lies in the cast — familiar faces like Bryan Cranston, Steve Buscemi, and Janelle Monáe lend weight and variety, making each episode feel like a miniature film in its own right. Some episodes hit profound notes, others drift into stylish ambiguity, but none feel wasted. Electric Dreams may not rewire your brain like Black Mirror at its best, but it’s still well worth a watch — especially if you enjoy stories that make you question whether the dream is yours… or someone else’s program running quietly in the background.
