Devs is a case study in bad writing and direction hidden behind extreme self-seriousness and stylised presentation. Almost, but not quite, worth watching cautionarily.
Horrible, but not amusingly.
The series repeatedly asserts intelligence through jargon, credentialising scenes, and visual affect, but fails to demonstrate it through character behaviour, plot discipline, or causality.
